Katie Price Says ‘Nobody Will Destroy Me Again’

Katie Price vowed to never let anyone “ruin” her again.

The 43-year-old made the fiery statement in a podcast she recorded before her alleged assault.

Sitting down to speak with Simon Thomas on his life, choppy podcast, Katie said she felt like she was finally able to take control of her life again.

The former model says she worked hard to turn things around after she was cast as the “villain” in her divorce from first husband Peter Andre.

In all of the negativity, she said, she struggled for the positivity, like trying to pass the Harvey Act through Parliament.

Katie wants to make it illegal for people to trolle or abuse others online, naming the petition after her eldest son Harvey, 19, who suffers from a number of conditions including autism, partial blindness and Prader-Willi syndrome.

A mother of five said to Simone, “You know what, it’s the first time in 10 years that I’ve been in control of my life and love me or hate me, if it wasn’t for my situation I wouldn’t have been able to start creating this Harvey Law, and I’m all for helping people and using my site to be able to Helping others, especially like Harvey with a disability and to raise awareness and do what I can do now.

“I am fortunate enough to have changed my life, I am here, and I feel completely new, and no one will ever destroy me again.

“You know I’ve made mistakes in the past, of course I’ve made, but then people don’t realize I’ve been struggling at the same time. There are always reasons why people do things and you rebel.

“I can’t help but apologize that sometimes I acted the way I did because I was in pain and didn’t know how to let it go otherwise.”

Simon went to ask Katie what message she would get if she had the opportunity to speak to her younger self.

She said, “There are actually two. I would say learn more about people before working with them, and when it comes to men, don’t jump into relationships and rush things, take your time.”

“Other than that I can’t bring up my career. It’s taken me to places around the world where a lot of the job experiences I’ve done, I love what I do, I love doing reality, I love doing my books, I love meeting people and I love creating products for people, and I will continue to do so.”

“I’m happy and I’m in a good place and no one will come close to ruining it again.”

Katie’s friends say she was left “tortured” and struggled to sleep after her alleged assault.

She recently shared pictures of her bruised face after she was allegedly attacked in the early hours of last Monday.

Essex Police confirmed that a man in his 30s has been released on bail until next month after his arrest.

“A man arrested on suspicion of assault, robbery, coercive conduct and control has been released on bail until September 20,” a statement said.
