Liverpool will seek to continue their unbeaten start to the season when they travel to Atletico Madrid on Tuesday.
The Reds have gone 20 unbeaten matches in all competitions, with 11 matches this season before their last Champions League encounter.
Jurgen Klopp put his players through their paces in Kirkby on Monday afternoon before traveling to Spain later in the day.
But what can be learned from the session?
Jones’ return
Klopp was less impressed by the FA after Curtis Jones returned from injury international duty last week.

Jones came off the bench during England’s Under-21 win in Andorra last Monday despite missing the previous game in Slovenia with a strong thigh.
This means he missed the weekend at Watford, which angered the Reds boss ahead of the match.
However, Jones was only able to participate in the warm-up and will remain in England to boost his fitness in hopes of being available for the United match.

Thiago is still out
However, one streak player, such as Harvey Elliott, is still absent.
Thiago Alcantara will miss his return to Spain after he has not fully recovered from the calf problem that kept him out for a month.
Klopp previously stated that the Spaniard would need to return to coaching the entire squad before his selection could be considered.
Manchester United on Sunday, then, is the earliest date to return.

Elijah will do it
Nat Phillips, who has yet to appear with the first team this season, was among those shown at Kirkby.
So was Academy midfielder Elijah Dixon-Boehner, who impressed the Under-21s – which also included Phillips – in their FA Cup defeat to Bolton Wanderers earlier in the month.
The 20-year-old has participated in several first-team training sessions this season and has been smiling alongside the first-team squad.
He also played the second leg at Anfield on Saturday as the Under-23 side beat Arsenal 3-0 in the Premier League 2.

Brazilians are waiting
Of course, neither Fabinho nor Allison was involved in Kirkby.
The duo flew directly from Brazil to Madrid on Friday to prepare for the match and sail around the required 10-day quarantine in the UK.

They will join the rest of the squad later on the Monday before the game on Tuesday.
They will not return to England until Thursday to ensure a full 10 days have passed since they were in the red list country after playing Brazil in Colombia early last week.
