Meghan Markle opens up in an interview with Ellen DeGeneres

This was her second interview since moving to the US with husband Prince Harry, but it was certainly less controversial as Meghan Markle has opened up about family life away from the UK and the royal family.

Appearing as a guest on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, the Duchess of Sussex candidly opened up about a number of topics – from her last rowdy night with Prince Harry before they were spotlighted sharing adorable photos of their children.

It comes after Meghan made a series of shocking claims during her conversation with Oprah in March, including that she felt suicidal during her time in the royal family, and noted that a member of the royal family said they were concerned about how dark Archie’s complexion could be.

But her most amazing interview with Eileen saw her talk warmly about her children and their new life in Santa Barbara.

Megan shares a rare glimpse of her son Archie

Meghan gave her fans another sneak peek at her son who looks just like her.

The little boy was seen feeding the family’s chickens in an adorable photo while wearing stone-washed jeans and a gray blouse.

He turned his back to the camera as he carried a wicker basket to feed the chickens.

Fans may also have noticed that Archie was wearing a cute pair of Peppa Pig Wellington shoes.

Meghan Markle shows her funny side in a prank with Elaine

Meghan played a funny joke on unsuspecting audience members while presenter Ellen DeGeneres whispered.

When the Duchess appeared at a market stall, she would shop for crystals and continue to perform strange actions, such as closing her eyes and placing the crystal on her head while cheering.

Then I put the crystal down before looking at the hot sauces and “Mom loves hot sauce!”

Megan went to try the sauces and ate it like a squirrel saying, “Mom wants some heat!”

Megan opens up about cute Halloween costumes for Archie and Lilipt

Son Archie turned into a dinosaur and little Lilibet was a skunk for Halloween, and Ellen Degeneres got to see the kids in their sweet groups when she visited the Mountbatten-Windsor brood.

Megan said, “We were at home and we saw you guys, which was cool. But no, we wanted to do something fun for the kids and then the kids weren’t interested in it at all.

Elaine then recounts how Harry persuaded 2-year-old Archie to wear his dinosaur costume, saying, “Finally Harry spoke to him to put his head on. But Lily was a skunk… which was very cute.”

“He came to see me in Toronto and our friends and cousin Eugenie and now her husband Jack, they came too,” Megan said.

“So you and Harry went to the Halloween party and they had no idea it was you?” said Eileen.

Meghan confirmed it, saying, “It was a post-apocalyptic theme. So we had all this very weird costumes and we had one fun last night.”

Meghan Markle said little Archie would love to be Lillipet’s big brother while talking to Elaine.

The 63-year-old played Hugh Grant in love in the film, written by Richard Curtis – which was nominated for multiple Academy Awards, BAFTAs, and Golden Globes following its release.

“I’ve been obsessed with Andy McDowell at four weddings and a funeral and all I wanted was the perfect little curly haircut,” the Duchess of Sussex told chat show host Eileen.

Viewers are said to have shown off a photo of Meghan as a teen with her Andy-inspired hairstyle featuring curly curls. Meghan added, “That first day I was like, ‘That’s amazing, I look like Andy McDowell’ [in the film]”…”

However, the mother of two started laughing and said that she did not continue like this. She said her hair started to change shape, something she wasn’t expecting, as a result of her perspiration.

Meghan Markle remembers Archie’s son’s cute reaction to the children’s book

Megan was asked if her son knew it was featured in her children’s book.

Earlier this year, Meghan released her first book, The Bench, which depicts the two-year-old.

“He does,” she said, noting that Archie had also noticed their two dogs, a Labrador named Paula and a Beagle named Jay.

She laughed, “On that front page you open up and you see our dogs and he says, ‘This is Paula! This is the man! “.
