OLE GUNNAR SOLSKJAER officiated his last game for Manchester United with the board’s decision finally having enough.
United called an emergency board meeting after the 4-1 humiliation at Vicarage Road.

And Solskjaer’s staff in the back room began to say goodbye after the brutal defeat to club chiefs to have him sacked within 48 hours.
Sacking Solskjaer would cost the club £7.5m after the Norwegian signed a new three-year deal in July.
After Watford’s defeat, traveling fans mercilessly booed Solskjaer outside the stadium, as his boss waved an apology.
Bruno Fernandes jumped into his boss’s defense and rammed hard with the fans, before being dragged away.
But now Solskjaer will be expelled from Old Trafford in the coming hours.
Owners of The Glazers are eager to replace him with Zinedine Zidane, although they are also linked with Brendan Rodgers, Eric ten Hag and Mauricio Pochettino.

Club chiefs have so far failed in their bid to lure Zidane to Old Trafford, with the unemployed Frenchman waiting until the end of this season to entertain the offers.
It is also alleged that Zidane’s wife, Veronique, put the brakes on a move because she did not want to move to Manchester.
Solskjaer has won just four of his last 13 games despite boosting his squad with the addition of Cristiano Ronaldo, Raphael Varane and Jadon Sancho in the summer.
