Emergency services were called to The Croft Retail Park on Wilton Road in Bromborough at 1.55pm today after reports of a man in his 30s who was stabbed inside the Everlast Fitness Club.

Investigators said they believed the incident was an “isolated” and “targeted attack” and that there was no broader threat to society.
The officers will also remain in Bromborough to continue their work.
Detective Inspector Matt Kerr said: “Two men are under arrest and will be questioned while we conduct preliminary investigations into this incident.
“Anyone who witnessed what happened or has information is invited to come forward and the officers will remain in the area to continue their work.
“This would be understandably shocking given the general location and severity of the attack, but I would like to assure people that we believe it was a single, targeted attack, and no broader threat to society.
“If you know anything, let us know and we will continue to take action.”
