Julia Bradbury provided a disturbing health update after having a mastectomy in October.

Countryfile presenter, 51, underwent the “brutal” procedure after being diagnosed with breast cancer in September.

The beloved star has spoken positively about her recovery, but now she has told fans that she is not feeling well.

Julia took to Twitter on Sunday sharing a video of herself walking in pajamas and well.

She admitted it was “a struggle to get out of bed” and said, “Hey everyone. I’m back in my pajamas today. I kind of went back this week.

“I have been feeling better and stronger every week since my surgery but this week I have really developed eye flu symptoms.

Julia said she was struggling to get out of bed

“I did a covid test and it was negative. I really have eye phlegm, cough, chest.

“All I really want to do is stay in bed, but I forced myself to just go out and only get 20 minutes from here.

“Because I know it’s going to be good and it fills my lungs with some good air. And sometimes you just have to push a little.

“Then I’ll go back to bed. I hope you have a good weekend and send in lots of love. I hope you all spend your time outdoors.”

Emphasizing the importance of being out in nature, she added, “Many of us live fast-paced urban lives; long work days, long busy commutes.

“There are a lot of stresses that affect our mental health.

“That’s why it’s worth making time for nature, even when things get busy and other priorities feel more important.”

Julia had her left breast removed in October after she was diagnosed with cancer.

She shared a powerful photo of her topless shortly before the surgery.

Besides, she wrote, “I’m going to do my last walk in this body. I’m going to take my last walk with these boobs.”

“One of the best tips I’ve had in the weeks of my breast cancer diagnosis (thank you)…to say goodbye to my chest and thank my body for all the sustenance, joy, and life it has given me.”

Julia said she was “extremely” concerned before the operation and was “sad that such a brutal measure is necessary”.

Since this procedure, Julia provides her fans with regular updates about health.

Despite the major surgery, she said there was some good news when I told her she was finally able to sleep thanks to her reflexologist.

Earlier this month she said, “Every morning. I spent my first full night of sleep last night, since my diagnosis. Don’t wake up in the middle of the night. Whoop whoop.

Good day to you folks. It’s all about the little ‘good’ folds.

“Every day may not be good, but there is something good in every day.”
