A 5.6-magnitude earthquake occurred about 44 kilometers north of Nadori in Labasa at 4:28 am today.
According to the Fiji Earthquake Department, the quake occurred at a depth of 10 km.
We have received reports of feeling tremors in Labasa, Boa, Makwata, Lautoka and Navua but no damages have been reported.
The Fiji Seismology Department says the earthquake poses no tsunami risk in Fiji.
