Harry Kane scored two goals for Tottenham on Saturday evening, as his team qualified for the fifth round of the FA Cup by defeating Brighton.
The 28-year-old striker hasn’t been at his best this season, but since mid-December the 2020/21 Golden Boot winner has rediscovered his scoring form.
In his last 11 games in all competitions, Kane has netted on seven occasions, and his tally this season is now 15 for his club.
There were some real concerns about Kane’s form during Nuno Espirito Santo’s brief spell at Tottenham Hotspur, but since Antonio Conte was announced as his successor, the striker is back to his best.

Speaking back in December, when Kane was facing a dry spell in front of goal, Conte backed his striker to rediscover his form once again – something that has now been proven to be true.
Conte said: “First of all, I’m sure Harry is happy if we win and he doesn’t score. Because Spurs is the first idea for us and Harry.
“It is important to have chances to score and we are improving a lot in this aspect. I am sure Harry will score many goals.
“I am sure he will do well in the same way he did against Brentford against the team we are playing in. I am very happy with the way he is playing.

“Then I know the striker wants to score but we want to give him a lot of chances to score. I think we’re on the right track to do this kind of situation.”
What does this mean for Ken
As it was announced last summer, Kane was a target for Manchester City, but Tottenham were determined to keep their star striker for at least another season.
However, City could take another step for Kane at the end of the season as they look for a long-term replacement for Sergio Aguero, who left City last summer.
Speaking in January, Conte called on Tottenham to sign a new long-term striker.
He said: “I think that especially in this league, because the level is very high and you have to play a lot of games, if you want to have ambition, to be competitive, to fight for something important, you have to have 20. [outfield] players. Two players per turn.
“Sure, as a coach, it’s very difficult to decide to keep Harry on the bench, but at the same time, when you play the way we’ve played in the last period – six games in 17 days – every coach should have the ability to make rotations and not drop the level. Much “.
