Manchester United play Atletico Madrid at the Wanda Metropolitano Stadium on Wednesday night.
United take on the La Liga champions away in Spain in the first leg of the Round of 16 in the Champions League.
Ralf Rangnick’s side head into the game on the back of a 4-2 win against Leeds at the weekend. United threw away their two-goal advantage in that match at Elland Road but showed an admirable character to bounce back from that second half setback.
Rangnick drew plaudits after the game for the introduction of Fred and Anthony Elanga, who both scored goals from the bench.
Although Atletico Madrid won La Liga last season, they’ve struggled for form this term and sit fifth in the league table.
In regards to team news, Edinson Cavani has been ruled out of this game through a thigh injury.
