Live updates as huge queues at Nottingham railway station ahead of Forest’s game at Wembley

[ad_1]

Nottingham Forest supporters are stuck in huge queues at Nottingham railway station as they wait for trains to take them to London for today’s play-off match against Huddersfield Town.

There are not only queues on the platform, there are long lines of fans snaking out onto the street as they arrive to try and get on trains to go to the capital.

A dramatic penalty shootout victory over Sheffield United just over a week ago now, in which goalkeeper Brice Samba was the hero, means that the Reds are potentially just 90 minutes away from playing top-flight football next season. Forest take on Huddersfield Town on 29 May, after the Terriers overcame Luton Town in their semi-final.

Excitement is building for the trip to Wembley and the club’s ticket allocation was announced as sold out on Tuesday. But the journey to the capital is still to come for many fans, especially those using public transport such as trains and buses who are traveling on the day.
