We all feel a little bad for wearing them after eating Christmas dinner.
Whether it’s nipple confusion, overindulging in greasy foods or just general overindulgence, it’s only natural to want to curl up on the couch and ditch the cheese board.

Signs of pancreatic cancer often overlap with that stuffed-up feeling you get after a feast.
But for some, the common symptoms you experience after Christmas dinner may be a sign of something more sinister.
In fact, signs of pancreatic cancer can often overlap with that stuffed feeling you get after a party.
This deadly disease is notorious for its high fatality rate, with only seven percent of patients surviving for five years or more.
Each year, more than 10,000 people in the UK are diagnosed with the disease, with around 9,000 deaths.
Cancer is particularly difficult to diagnose early because it causes no signs or symptoms at first.
It’s more common in older people, with nearly half of all new cases diagnosed in people over 75 – but that doesn’t mean younger people can’t get it.
Here are the symptoms you should watch out for, some of which may appear as full…
1. Feeling bloated
According to Cancer Research UK, feeling bloated a lot could be a sign of pancreatic cancer, as digestive problems can occur.
This would cause gas, bloating, and in some cases fluid buildup in the abdomen.
It should also be noted that bloating can be a sign of ovarian cancer.
The British National Health Service warns that “flatulence, a feeling of bloating, pain or tenderness in your abdomen, lack of appetite, or feeling full quickly after eating,” more than 12 times a month, can all be symptoms of the disease.
2. Stomach palpitations
Another symptom that is perhaps less common after a Christmas gorge is the feeling of a “flutter” under the ribs.
A 2014 BMJ report referred to patients experiencing ‘pain’ and a ‘fluttering’ sensation in their stomach prior to a diagnosis of pancreatic cancer.
Lisa Woodrow, a pancreatic cancer nurse specialist at Pancreas Cancer UK, says: “We don’t often hear people talk about a fluttering sensation in their stomach, but this could be related to digestive problems caused by a pancreas that isn’t working properly.”
3. Stomach rumbling
The gurgling of the stomach, on the other hand, is often felt, or in some cases, in the slow hours after Christmas dinner.
Lisa said that some cancer patients experience a gurgling sensation.
“I often wonder if this is due to poor absorption of food due to insufficient pancreatic enzymes, and so this is often related to wind and digestion,” she added.
4. Digestion problems
Cancer research indicates that loss of appetite, indigestion, and nausea are also common in people with pancreatic cancer.
This is because cancer can reduce the number of enzymes made by the pancreas that are needed to break down food.
It can also prevent enzymes from reaching your intestines, which is why it can change the consistency of your stools leading to diarrhea or constipation.
other major signs
There are some other important signs of illness that probably won’t be associated with feeling full after Christmas dinner.
jaundice
If you notice that your eyes or skin look yellow, this is a sign of pancreatic cancer.
It is called jaundice and is caused by a buildup of bilirubin – bile.
This occurs when a tumor blocks the exit of bile from the gallbladder into the small intestine.
A person with jaundice may also have itchy skin, dark urine, and lighter stools.
Diagnosis of diabetes
If you have recently been diagnosed with diabetes, or have suddenly discovered that diabetes that is usually well controlled is less than that, this is something to watch for.
Research has shown that the onset of type 2 diabetes in people over the age of 50 can be an early sign of pancreatic cancer.
It’s especially likely in people with a low BMI, who are losing weight and who don’t have a family history of diabetes.
