His uncle revealed that American football star Damar Hamlin had to be resuscitated twice after his heart stopped after a dramatic collapse on the field.
The 24-year-old Buffalo Bills player got CPR for about 10 minutes after colliding with Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Tee Higgins during the game Monday night.
An ambulance was called to the field, and the Bills coach led the team in prayer as Hamlin left the field. Several of his teammates were in tears, while his mother watched from the crowd.

Hamlin’s uncle, Dorian Glenn, said Tuesday night that his nephew was still under the influence of anesthesia at a Cincinnati hospital.
“His heart was out, so they had to resuscitate him twice. They resuscitated him in the field before they brought him to the hospital, and then they resuscitated him again when they took him to the hospital,” he told CNN Outside. the hospital.
Mr. Glenn thanked the medical staff, saying, “Without them, my nephew probably wouldn’t be here.”
He said watching the match with Hamlin’s brother was “heartbreaking”.
“I’m not crying, but I’ve never cried so hard in my life… My nephew basically died in the field, and they brought him back to life.
“I’m glad he’s still alive and able to fight and try to get better and recover.”
He said the family was taking things “day by day” but said it seemed to be “going upwards in a positive way”.

Mr. Glenn said Hamlin had some damage to his lungs and was on a ventilator to help his breathing and take some pressure off his lungs.
He said his parents were by his side and were at the match.
Before his collapse on prime-time television, Hamlin had been trying to raise money to buy toys for children in need, and two years later he had accumulated nearly $3,000 (£2,500).
In the last 24 hours that total has reached $5.5m (£4.6m) and the number is rising.
About 183,000 people online have donated, on average, about $30. Some donations were smaller. Some were over $5,000 and involved a number of NFL players.
