NewsMobile checked the video, and found it outdated.

Watching the video carefully, we realized that three different videos were edited together. Therefore, we examined all three videos separately.

Video 1

By keyframing the video through reverse image search, we found that the same video was shared by WildFilmsIndia YouTube channel on April 13, 2020, titled: Nepal Earthquake Surveillance Cameras from Darbar Marg, Kathmandu on April 25, 2015.

Another YouTube channel also shared the same video, dated June 15, 2015, titled: Nepal Earthquake Footage CCTV Darbar Marg Kathmandu April 25, 2015.

Hence, the footage is obviously outdated.

Video 2

The second video was shared on Twitter by Radio Farra 95.7 FM’s page on November 23, 2021. The video was shared with the caption: #Attention A with a magnitude of 4.52 #earthquake was recorded in #Quito and that’s how strong it is in the capital. #News #Ecuador.

NewsMobile has not been able to independently confirm the location of the video, though the video is clearly old.

Video 3

Third video (horizontally flipped) Uploaded to YouTube on October 12, 2021 titled: Greece Earthquake | 2021 Crete earthquake.

Hence, it is clear that all the clips in the viral video are old and the post is misleading.
