Natalie McNally Murder: Police Hunt Killer of Northern Ireland Pregnant Woman Seizes Car | UK News

Police searching for the killer of a pregnant woman in Northern Ireland have commandeered a car, as officers prepare to return to the crime scene.

Natalie McNally, 32, was stabbed to death at her home in Lurgan, County Armagh, on 18 December when she was 15 weeks pregnant.

Two men were arrested but one was released unconditionally and the other on bail for further investigation.

Ms Inknally’s parents told Sky News they feared the killer may have fled the country and women in the community “should be terrified that there is a monster still on the streets”.

On Saturday, detectives investigating the murder seized a vehicle from an address in the Lisburn and Castlereagh area for further examination.

Officers also conducted house-to-house investigations in the Lisburn area.

The Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) is set to revisit the murder scene on Sunday – three weeks after the killing – in a bid to encourage anyone with information to come forward.

Chief Detectives Neil McGuinness said Ms McNally was “brutally murdered in her own home” and officers would talk to motorists and pedestrians “in an effort to make memories”.

“The deaths of Natalie and her unborn child have left unimaginable grief to a loving family whose world has been turned upside down,” he said.

Amid their pain, Natalie’s devoted family has somehow found the strength to publicly appeal to anyone with information to do the right thing and speak up.

Likewise, we remain absolutely steadfast in our determination to bring the killer to justice.”

The main line of investigation, investigators said, was that McNally was murdered by someone she knew and was comfortable letting into her home.

They also believe they recovered the weapon used in the killing.

CCTV has been released of a man seen arriving and leaving the street where Mrs. McNally lives, the night of the murder.

McNally’s mum, Bernie, told Sky News: “This was an innocent girl and her child’s life and I have to think to God, in the last minutes of her life, was she pleading for her life? Was she begging for her child’s life?”

“It all comes into your head. How have her last few minutes been like?”

The victim’s father, Noel McNally, said: “Someone must have known the killer and if you kill someone like that, you can’t go home and act normally.

“If they can find it in their hearts to give up allegiance and go straight to the police.

“You can’t be loyal to someone who did this to a little girl because he could be doing it to someone else and she wouldn’t want to.”
