Lisa Marie Presley died of a second heart attack while in the hospital after her family signed a “do not resuscitate” order, it emerged.

Elvis’ only child, 54, died Thursday after being taken to hospital.

She was found by her housekeeper collapsed inside her Calabasas home, after she suffered a cardiac arrest.

Understandably, her ex-husband, Danny Keough, with whom she was living, had performed CPR before the EMTs arrived to take over.

They were able to revive Presley at her home, but she was brain dead when she arrived at the hospital, according to TMZ.

The family rushed to see her at the hospital, where she was in an induced coma and on life support.

After learning she was already dead, they signed a “do not resuscitate” order, the site reported.

Then it is believed that the American singer suffered a second heart attack and passed away.

Her mother, Priscilla, 77, was with her in her final moments.

In a statement released Thursday evening, she said: “It is with a heavy heart that I must share the heartbreaking news that my beautiful daughter, Lisa Marie, has left us.

“She was the most passionate, strong, and loving woman I’ve ever known.”

The couple had attended the Golden Globes just two days earlier, where they watched Austin Butler receive an award for his lead role in Baz Luhrmann’s biopic Elvis.

He thanked them for opening up about the project, adding, “I love you forever.”

It comes after it was revealed that Presley was buried at Graceland with her late son, Benjamin.

She is to be buried at the famous Graceland Estate in Memphis, Tennessee, where Elvis and his parents Gladys and Vernon are buried.

“Lisa Marie’s final burial place will be at Graceland, next to her beloved son Ben,” Presley’s daughter actress, Riley Keough, told The Hollywood Reporter.
