Good morning, United fans

The Red Devils could lead a £100m battle for Goncalo Ramos – but the first target is for him to finish second in Prim tonight.

Chairman Erik ten Hag is considering new loan striker Wout Weghorst’s role at Crystal Palace this evening.

A tie takes fourth place over Newcastle, and victory means overtaking its neighbor Man City as well.

Frontmen Anthony Martial and Marcus Rashford are facing fitness issues after Saturday’s 2-1 derby win over City.

Midfielders Fred and Casemiro are both away from suspension for Sunday’s trip to league leaders Arsenal.

So Ten Hag has interesting selection issues against Palace, who are in 12th place after five defeats in six matches in all competitions.

New United goalkeeper Jack Butland will not be on the bench tonight, however, as he is not eligible to face his parent club.

West Ham are said to be considering the surprise loan approach of United defender Harry Maguire.

And Ten Hag is allegedly feeling more relaxed about recruiting a new right-back.

This is partly because Aaron Wan-Bissaka impressed as Diogo Dalot’s player.

United now look likely to keep the uncapped England AWB player this month, despite reported interest from Wolves and old club Palace.

As for the Portuguese star Ramos in the World Cup, the Red Devils are waiting for a summer bidding war with Paris Saint-Germain and Newcastle.

Finally, Sir Jim Ratcliffe, the UK’s richest man, is said to have entered the race to buy United – two months after the Glazers put the club up for sale.
