No official identification has yet been made but the family of Lisa Haining, who was reported missing from Dundonald, Ayrshire, has been notified.

In a Facebook post, her husband, Craig, praised his “beautiful wife and angel.”
He wrote: “It is with a heavy heart that I announce the passing of my beautiful wife and angel, Lisa.
Her children Gregor, Emma, and Ewan will miss Lisa. Lisa had the most amazing relationship with our children, and a four-legged friend made our first family complete.
“Lisa was such a calm, sweet person with a wonderful sense of humor and a sense of fun. Something that people didn’t always see. She could create the most amazing cards for people with laughter stories in her entire life.
“To my best friend on infinity and a wonderful mom to our kids. Until we meet again, my angel, sleep peacefully.”
