A small earthquake was reported Sunday morning in the Santa Barbara Channel.
The USGS said the quake, which measured 3.1 on the Richter scale, was reported at 8:41 a.m.
The USGS said it was centered 11.6 miles southwest of Santa Barbara, at a depth of about 3 miles.
There were no reports of damage or injuries from the quake, which was mainly felt by residents of the Santa Barbara area.
