Casey is leaving Barcelona.

Liverpool-linked Frank Casey is said to be the first person to leave Barcelona this summer.

This is according to Spanish publication AS, via Paisley Gates, who report that Kessie is willing to accept a move away from Nou Camp as long as the offer is interesting.

The report goes on to claim that the Spanish champions, who signed with the African national team last year, want a minimum fee of £30m (€35m).

Mac Allister at number 10

Alexis McAllister is Liverpool’s new number 10 after the Reds confirmed his signing on Thursday morning.

“I know how important the number 10 is in football. I had the possibility of getting the number 8 too, which is a big number for this club because [Steven] Gerard of course. But I decided to get number 10 because I used it a lot in Argentina, in Brighton, under-23 team too. It’s a number I really like and that’s why I chose it.”

Talks are ongoing

Liverpool will not stop at signing Alexis McAllister because French duo Jefren Thuram and Manu Kony are next on Jurgen Klopp’s list.

Reports indicate that Liverpool are close to agreeing personal terms with both players as fees are now required to be agreed with Nice and Gladbach.
