Merseyside Police have issued an update after three men have been arrested on suspicion of murder.
At about 3.30pm on Thursday (8 June) the police received a report of concern for the safety of a man at an address on Huyton House Road, Huyton. Joseph Holland, 25, died at the scene and a murder investigation has been launched.
Three men, aged 28, 25 and 36, have been arrested on suspicion of murder. Officers have now addressed “understandable concerns” in the Huyton area and outlined some police plans for the coming week.

In an update posted on Facebook today (June 10), Knowsley Police said: “There is understandable concern in the Huyton community following the death of Joseph Holland at Huyton House Road.
“The Knowsley Police Mobile Police Station will be in the Huyton House Road and Jubilee Park area over the coming days.
The Community Police surgery will also be taking place at Huyton Police Station on Monday 12th June from 1pm.
“Officers will be on standby to speak to residents, give advice and receive information.
“No appointment needed.

On Friday night (9 June), Joseph Holland’s family issued a short tribute through Merseyside Police. They said, “No words can describe the loss of our beautiful son, brother, uncle and friend to so many. He was loved by all.”
