Kate Middleton puts on a show in style as she attends Trooping the Color in an all-green outfit

The Princess of Wales paid tribute to her late mother-in-law while attending the Trooping the Color party for the King’s birthday today.

Kate Middleton, 41, was elegant in a bright green satin-like dress and matching hat as she traveled to the Horse Guards Parade with Queen Camilla and her three children.

Her husband, the Prince of Wales, was nearby on horseback with King Charles.

Prince George, nine, Princess Charlotte, eight, and Prince Louis, five, were all well behaved as they made their way down the mall in the trolley – waving and smiling at onlookers.

The mother-of-three referred to Princess Diana by her outfit, and accompanied her with a pair of sapphire drop earrings that once belonged to her late mother-in-law.

Today’s event is Trooping the Color’s first after the death of Queen Elizabeth II last September – and King Charles’ inaugural Christmas parade.

Kate opted for a bold, one-color look, dressed in green from head to toe, to reprise her role as colonel in the Irish Guards – a role she took over from her husband at the end of last year.

In another nod to her Irish role, Kate wore a gold clover brooch.

Finishing off her look, the Queen wore her chestnut locks in a low bun, tucked under the brim of her hat.

Kate’s three children were also seen arriving at the event together, waving excitedly at the royal fans.

About 70 aircraft from the Royal Navy, the British Army and the Royal Air Force will take part in the Trooping the Color flight on Saturday, to mark the birthday of Charles I.

However, extended military aviation may be reduced in size due to bad weather.

The king, queen and other members of the royal family are expected to watch the plane fly over the Mall and Buckingham Palace in a six-minute show.

The annual Trooping the Color event has celebrated the King’s official birthday for over 260 years.

More than 60 aircraft from the Royal Navy, British Army and Royal Air Force were due to take part in the Coronation flight in May, but “unfavorable weather conditions” led to that plan being abandoned.

Instead, helicopters from the three services and the Red Arrows took part in the parade, which lasted about two and a half minutes.

Footage from Royal Navy helicopters showed just how bad the weather was in the skies over London.

What are the forces of color?

Trooping the Color is held to celebrate the birthday of the reigning monarch in the United Kingdom and has been held every year for the past 260 years.

This year, the show will take place on Saturday, June 17th. The parade will feature the King’s personal troopers, the Household Division – who will be present in the Horse Guards Parade – with the King himself scheduled to attend and salute.

This popular event will draw large crowds who will be seen waving flags as the parade moves from Buckingham Palace and down the Mall to the Horse Guards Parade, along with members of the royal family on horseback and in carriages.

About 113 words of command will be given by the officer in command of the parade. The parade route runs from Buckingham Palace along The Mall to Horse Guards Parade Whitehall and back again.

During the ceremony, Charles will be greeted with a royal salute, before an inspection is carried out on the troops, who are fully trained, servicemen dressed in ceremonial uniforms of red tunics and bearskin hats.

After the swarming bands perform a musical “band”, the accompanying Regimental Color is moved down the ranks.

The Foot Guards and Household Cavalry will march before His Majesty and the King’s Troops and Royal Horse Artillery. After that, the monarch will return to Buckingham Palace at the head of his guards, before making the salute at the palace.

His Majesty the King will then join the other members of the royal family on the balcony of the palace for the Royal Air Force to take a flight.

Rain fell on the windshield of the plane as it flew low over the heart of the capital.

The Ministry of Defense said the size of the Christmas fly had been increased in honor of the new monarch.

The Chief of the Air Staff, Marshal Sir Rich Knighton, said: ‘We are very proud to be able to display our capabilities to our Commander-in-Chief, on Your Majesty’s historic occasion.

“We have planned a fitting and proper tribute to our King, that should be a true spectacle of the United Kingdom and the Commonwealth.”
