Aside from this, the recent Night Market background had Northern Lights located in Norway, which makes the theory of Deadlock’s origin in Norway even stronger. This June 2023 Valorant Night Market wallpaper hints at Deadlock country. (Image: Riot Games)

In addition, fans have also pointed out that Deadlock’s name may be a reference to the Norwegian word “dødlås” which means deadlock or immobility. This may refer to her role as a guard who can prevent enemies from advancing or escaping.

However, it is awaiting official confirmation from Riot Games, and we will update this page as soon as we have more information on Deadlock’s country.
