An earthquake measuring 4.4 on the Richter scale struck 93 km southeast of Faizabad, Afghanistan, on Monday, the National Center of Seismology reported.
“Earthquake magnitude: 4.4, occurred on 10-07-2023, 00:10:06 IST, Latitude: 36.51, Length: 71.29, Depth: 180 km, Location: 93 km southeast of Faizabad, Afghanistan,” read one of the posts. On the official NCS Twitter account.
The earthquake occurred at 00:10:06 (GMT) at a depth of 180 km.
Moreover, according to the NCS, the epicenter was found to be at 36.51°N and 71.29°E, respectively.
