Erika Jane was complicit in the alleged financial misdeeds of her estranged husband Tom Girardi, says Jay Edelson — the attorney who filed a class action lawsuit against the attorney for the embattled “Erin Brockovich” case.

“We think we’ll be able to prove that Erica was incredibly involved not only in her law firm, but also, that he was loaning money to her firm in the tens of millions of dollars,” Edelson said of the “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star, 49, On the “Reality Life with Kate Casey” podcast on Wednesday. “And we believe the money came from client money.”

Edelson pledged that he and his legal team “will look into all of that,” adding, “It’s all going to be, you know, part of the evidence we showed the jury — that she was involved in this fraud, and she could say, ‘Oh, she didn’t know anything’ about her.” I think this will be difficult for him [Erika] To convince the jury.

Girardi, 82, is a co-founder of Los Angeles-based law firm Girardi & Keese and has over the years amassed a fortune worth $30 million.

Girardi’s most notorious lawsuit saw him face off against Pacific Gas and Electric Company worth $333 million, which was awarded to 650 residents of Hinckley, California, as part of a class action lawsuit. That affair was the inspiration for the movie “Erin Brockovich,” which saw Julia Roberts win the Academy Award for Best Actress.

Chicago-based Edelson PC has sued the couple and several other defendants alleging the embezzlement of millions of dollars allegedly intended for settlement funds for family members of the 2018 Lion Air crash victims.

“No exception, you know, this is such a valuable piece of art. I mean, it gets really bad when you get a judgment and someone doesn’t want to pay, you can literally fire them and say we want to go through your wallet, take out the possessions in your bag, you know that’s no longer Yours,” Edelson made clear his company’s intentions if their claims were proven true.

In December, the couple faced another lawsuit for not paying $882,715 for the ruling. The family claimed that Gerardi was broken and suffering from amnesia due to his age.

According to Page Six, Jane has not been formally charged with any crimes. The outlet recently reported that her attorneys — who were representing her in Girardi’s Chapter 7 bankruptcy case — dropped her after the recent release of a Hulu documentary, “The Housewife and the Hustler,” which examines the alleged fraud.
