Musician Britney Spears deleted and reposted some photos of herself wearing a black and yellow maid-inspired outfit on her Instagram account on Tuesday.

“Like I said…my maids might have been able to clean their nails during COVID after salons opened but f-k…at least my maid’s clothes were the hottest,” Spears originally commented on the post, seemingly taking a quick swipe at her keeper.

The musician added a fuzzy face emoji at the end of her caption.

During a June 23 hearing, Spears explained to the judge that she had been told there were no spa services available to her due to the COVID-19 pandemic. However, she has seen her mother go to the “spa” on two occasions and that the “maids at my house” also had their nails done, according to People magazine.

The “Gimme More” singer then deleted and reposted the photos, using only the red high-heeled emoji as a comment.

In her court speech in June, the star claimed that her father “loved” the control he had. She described the guardianship as “abusive” and said it left her “shocked”.

“I’m not happy, I can’t sleep. I’m so angry, he’s crazy. And I’m depressed. My parents and anyone involved in this guardianship, including my administration … should be in prison,” Spears told Time.
