Kanye West is slated to release his 10th studio album soon. In the past few days, Ye hosted a private event in Las Vegas apparently playing the album for Brooklyn Nets star Kevin Durant and Instagram personality Justin LaBoy.
The hip-hop icon’s next music tape is said to feature some major collaborations including with Travis Scott, Future, Playboi Carti, Lil Baby, and more. Those who had the privilege of hearing the album praised the album for being “light years ahead of its time”. A recent post from Justin LaBoy reads, “Kanye played his new album for me and @KDTrey5 last night in Vegas. Listen man! The production is light years ahead of its time, and bars look like he’s broke and hungry trying to sign again. Any artist planning to step back soon should pay him back #Respectfully”
In the same Instagram post, Meek Mill took to the comments section to tease up some beef. While fans were offering alternative theories, Meek slipped into comments with a simple two-word response, “Big cap,” seemingly dismissing the fact that LaBoy claims Kanye’s upcoming album is set to be another “classic.”
It remains to be seen how fans will receive the album and whether or not Meek is salty about the hype Ye is receiving. There is currently no current album release date.
