The summer of the college-football-pac-12 storm is almost over

Supreme Court decisions. Name, image and similarity fees. Impunity transfer. Finally, a revolutionary reorganization of the conference. Say this to Larry Scott and his largely devastating tenure Pac-12at least he knew when to climb (probably a conference-funded) private jet and leave town. He will be replaced by George Kliavkoff, who will lead one of the country’s five – soon four – power conferences in the midst of all this change.

As you know, the latest – and probably the most consequent – Domino is Texas Longhorns and Oklahoma sooner From the Big 12 to the SEC. So in addition to having to lead a conference that seriously needs to improve quality, Kliavkoff also needs to assess where his conference sits and whether he needs to act as things change around him again (mostly south and east). Athlon Sports looked at potential schools which could stifle the trend and be in line with the West, and if you’re like me, you’ll just see a big bucket. Everyone wants to see a Pac-12 (plus) that includes Texas Tech Red Raiders, Boise State Broncos, TCU horned frogs or someone else on that list? Difficult input from this angle.

I am sorry for the schools that Texas and the OU are leaving behind. I prefer college conferences that maintain some regional balance, and if that were my choice, getting married will be back around the mid-90s, soon after the SEC went to 12 (except that Id keeps Arkansas in line with southwest schools). The regional side of the sport was one of the biggest appeals to me, especially when it came to bowls. Watching the conference clash on January 1 was my favorite sport of the year. Now I was going so far as to remember that I don’t know if the sport will even be recognizable in a decade. But I’m probably just old and I don’t understand progress or anything.

One thing I loved about the Big 12 watch cow’s departure was the breathtaking letters from the saint eight from left to back and a hilarious effortless effort. Texas A&M to the stone wall of Longhorns joining its SEC party. Each of these ADs and presidents in places like Stillwater and Lubbock could not wait to be deeply disappointed by their lack of loyalty and respect for tradition. At the same time, each of them would have jumped at the same opportunity. Anyone think that if the SEC called West Virginia or State of Oklahoma that those schools would refuse? Hell no. So save me the tears, guys.

Then there’s the Texas A&M Aggies, the biggest example of any hat, not cattle in the college football world. They wanted so badly to keep Texas away that someone from the school poured out expansion news hoping it would get a spike. Good job, good job. Never forget that you are a Texas A&M. And even if you’re full of money, you’ve never won anything yet and you have zero weight. But soon you get to play Oklahoma every year. Have!

I’d be curious to see what Texas fans think of all of this when I’m there in September, provided I get out of my chest and get into the game. Luckily, real football (it’s coming soon!) Comes to the fore and has a variety of stuff screaming. I can not wait!

Long live East Washington. But the sheriffs are now in town, so the fun is over. Another highlight we were given when we arrived: the 12-year-old bragged about how he ate at Zips, took a dump that required five flushes and two piston sessions. Apparently a very proud moment for him. I’m sure the girls ’parents deal with very similar stories.

Married this week

Mrs. Kendall and I returned from a beer trip and noticed that the freezer had not been closed properly, leading to a frosted inside and a lot of spoiled food. Mrs Kendall admitted she was the probable culprit, so she set about scraping the whole thing so we could close it again. Once he was stuck in one particular piece, you really went to full Tim Tool man Taylor mode to solve the problem.

I grabbed a flat-head screwdriver and hammer and started chipping away. After good progress, I continued. After a few seconds, a loud spray sound was heard and my eyes were full of steam. It turned out that Id punched a hole in the wall of the freezer and punctured the freon tube. Oops. One good news: I learned that taking a freon stream directly into the eye doesn’t hurt. So I have this job, which is nice.
