Stephen A Smith believes the Warriors will be the last four teams next season

The Warriors want to regain their place as one of the best teams in the NBA. When Steph Curry, Klay Thompson and Draymond Green are healthy next season, the sky may be the limit.

ESPN’s Stephen A. Smith would sign this feeling.

Smith joined the “Steiny, Guru & Dibs” section of 95.7 The Game, where he was asked if the Warriors are good enough to fight for the championship in the 2021-22 season.

Yeah. I have the Warriors easily as the last four teams in the NBA next year, ”Smith said.

“I have them going at least to the conference finals. I haven’t ruled out the possibility of winning the championship, I just have to look at what they look like.”

That is a fair point. It may be too early to crown the Warriors as a favorite to win the title, at least until we see how the team works after Thompson’s return – which may be in December or in January.

“But right now without a game,” Smith added. “All you have to do is tell me that Klay Thompson and Steph Curry are healthy on the field together for the season, and I’ll tell you that they were (in San Francisco) in the final of the conference.

Golden State reached its place in the play-in tournament this year and almost made it to the playoffs. They already have the ability to do so, and a healthy Thompson should let them compete for one of the higher seeds of the Western Conference.

If healthy, the sky can be the limit for all Warriors teams consisting of Curry, Thompson and Green.

When you think of the Western Conference, “Smith said.” Who can’t beat a healthy Warriors team? Who can’t they win?
