HASTINGS, Neb. (KSNB) – Centura High football made history last season and did something no one else has done in the existence of the programs.
Access to Class C playoffs has not been easy for Centurions year after year. However, last season was the second in a row when Centura earned its way into the aftermath after posting a 5-5 campaign. It was the first time the school got into the playoffs against each other.
This year, the program has set new goals and feels it has the tools to achieve them.
I think we’ll only lose a couple of starters on either side of the ball, senior Tanner Simdorn said. Everyone worked hard in the offseason and got stronger and faster, and it really showed.
