An Ohio state footballer is retiring

Unfortunately, the Ohio state football team lost a team member because they suffered too many injuries.

Injuries are part of football. They have always been. You can’t play such violent sports and you don’t expect to be hurt every now and then. Unfortunately, some players get more injuries than others. The injuries were too much for one Ohio state football player to continue the game.

Roen McCullogh announced his medical withdrawal from the Ohio State Football Program. He does so with a heavy heart after suffering a shoulder injury that required surgery. The long backup has decided that his best thing is to step out of the game.

McCullogh announced on Twitter his difficult decision to do so.

McCullogh isn’t someone who’s going to see the field much this season, if at all. Still, it’s unfortunate to have to stop playing the game you love because of such a thing. Injuries are a difficult thing to get over and can tire you mentally as much as you physically.

We wish McCullogh only the best forward. I hope she gets healthy as soon as possible so she can enjoy the rest of her university career during her studies. Prior to this shoulder injury, he was also diagnosed with heart disease.

As for the Buckeyes in the field, this doesn’t have much of an impact on the depth chart going forward. The long buttons are easy to change. McCullogh’s positivity and how much his teammates like him is not easy to replace.

I’m sure McCullogh will still hang around his teammates and encourage them!
