Vivek was part of the teams bronze that won the Tokyo Olympics earlier this month.

Since my debut, seniors have been the biggest source of motivation, he said.

They have helped me play my natural game without fear or pressure.

This is the biggest reason why I could win the 2019 FIH Rising Star of the Award and also the chance to win recognition for the second time.

Vivek added that the feeling of winning the Olympic bronze has not yet really deepened. I still can’t believe I belong to the team that won the Olympic medal.

It is every athlete’s dream and I am truly blessed to be able to live this dream at the age of 21.
