Congratulations are in order! Captain Bismah Maroof of the Pakistan Women’s Cricket Team recently announced the birth of her daughter on social media. Many athletes and journalists sent their congratulations to the new mother expressing congratulations on the announcement of the news.
Maroof posted happy news about her daughter’s arrival on Twitter on August 30th. “Allah SWT has blessed me with his daughter Alhamdulillah,” he wrote.
Shortly thereafter, his tweet is flooded with responses and wishes from followers as well as athletes and journalists.
Sports anchor and journalist Sawera Pasha congratulated Maroof and urged him to “prepare for the second turn.”
Cricketer Sohail Tanveer congratulated Maroof and his family.
And so did cricket Umar Gul.
English cricketer Heather Knight also sent love to her new mother.
Anchor Haider Azhar sent his congratulations to the happy family.
Cricketer Anwar Ali Khan prayed for Maroof’s daughter.
The Pakistani cricket team also congratulated Maroof and lightly asked his followers if the cricket newborn grows into a “dough or a bowler”?
The circuit board recently announced new parental support policy in May. In practice, female cricketers are entitled to one year of paid maternity leave. They also have the opportunity to move into a non-playful role as they approach maternity leave. The insurance guaranteed the contract for the following year when leaving for maternity leave. In addition, when the player returns, they are given physical training and support for rehabilitation after childbirth.
We wish Maroof all the best for this new chapter in life.
