CSNI CC and Bready Cricket Club played the final stages of their women’s All-Ireland T20 match when the dog appeared from scratch.
The players now seemed to think the job was done and acted more defensively, just waiting for the ref to blow the final whistle.
Fortunately, the dough Aoife Fisher managed to lure the dog to him and pick up the ball.
“I think this has taken the Covid regulations to a whole new level,” they laughed.
