Field hockey: Ippolito hero lifts Hunterdon Central over Belvidere in second round of HWS

Maria Ippolito scored the winning goal of the match by passing Sarah DeStefano and shared her own pass point with 11th-ranked Hunterdon Central as she won 3-2 of the sixth Belvider in Hunterdon / Warren in the second round. Sussex tournament in Belvider.

DeStefano and Jennifer Tokash scored two more goals for Hunterdon Central (3-5), with Kelly Weaver taking six fights to maintain the win.

Nora Dornich and Kayla Connors scored two goals for Belvider (5-2). Kaitlin Williams turned four shots in the loss.

Hunterdon Central will visit the third-placed Lenape Valley in the quarterfinals on Saturday at a time to be determined in Stanhop.
