New Delhi [India], October 4 (ANI): Inauguration of the Indian men’s cricket team Rohit Sharma said his best is still coming in test form when he has a phenomenal tour in England.
Rohit was the Indian with the most points when he reached 368 runs in four tests averaging 52.57 in one hundred and fifty. During the fourth test of the Kennington Oval century, the virgin Rohit was also a three-digit mark abroad.
“The English tour was good for me. I don’t call it the best because my best cricket is still ahead,” Rohit said at a virtual press conference hosted by Adidas. Leading sportswear giant Adidas launched its Impossible is Nothing campaign with the voices of athletes like Rohit, Manpreet Singh, Mirabai Chanu, Simranjeet Kauri and Lovlina Borgohain.
Opener Rohit in particular was just behind England captain Joe Root in the runs, who made 564 runs in four tests. “I’m really pleased with how I hit that tour. I’m going to take it forward now and build success in Test Cricket,” he added.
Although he had a great series, there was a lot of discussion after the last exam had to be canceled because there was fear of COVID-19 in the Indian camp. Although India will play the test on the next tour, it has not yet been decided whether it will be a sequel to the recent series or a one-off test. Rohit thinks the series is complete and India has won 2-1.
“In my eyes, we’ve won the series (2-1). I don’t know yet what happens to the last test in the series — whether we play it as a one-time test or in the series we decided as we have. We don’t have any clarity yet,” the Indian opener pointed out. (LETTER I)
