The best football games of week 7

Week 7 of the football season has huge matches with many important conference competitions. There are four games in the game with either two unbeaten teams or two state-placed teams. Below are some of the great games in the area to watch.

Carthage (6-0) in Joplin (6-0)

Shaking: Carthage has won two programs out of three meetings since Joplin joined the COC. The home team has won all three matches.

In the bet: This is the game in the regular season so far. Joplin has one of the best attacks in the area and Karthao has one of the best defenses in the area. The winner of this game controls his destiny for the COC championship and the loser needs help. The biggest difference is that Joplin has already beaten Webb City and Nixan. Carthage hasn’t played Nixa yet. The victory for Joplin and it’s largely over. Victory for Carthage and watched another week 9.

What you know: This game is solved in the wells. Yes, Joplin can score among the best. However, if they can’t stop the Carthage powerlifting game and the Tigers keep Always Wright and the club on the sidelines for a long time, Joplin might try to find a career offensively. Basically like this year’s Chiefs-Ravens game.

Webb City (4-2) in Nixa (5-1)

Shaking: In terms of MSHSAA records, Webb City has won 13 consecutive vs. Nixa, including setbacks.

In the bet: The win for Nixa and the Eagles gets Carthage a share of the COC championship in week 9, assuming Carthage wins Joplin. Lees Summit North is also currently in the 1-seed C6-D3 region with both Joplin and Nixa. Nixa can’t jump to Joplin, but both teams can jump to LSN, which still has Liberty North, Park Hill and Lees Summit West on schedule. A loss to Nixa and they are all but eliminated from the conference contest. Webb City wants to be a spoiler. The cards hold over the head-to-head republic, so there’s little chance for the C5-D6’s 2-seeds to jump. Nor can they jump to Carthage for the same reason.

What you know: The lack of physicality shown by Webb City against Carthage has been rectified in victories over Carl Junction and Branson. I don’t see Webb being bullied again about. However, they don’t have a match for Kael Combs, who has been a nightmare all season. If he can pull the safety case out of the box and keep the toilet as a secondary distance line, Nixa will be able to keep Webb guessing. Coach Rod is also the same guy who kept DGB in check, so this is another fun to watch.

Camdenton (5-1) in Lebanon (6-0)

Shaking: Their last 14 meetings have been split in the middle, and each program has won seven. Seven of them have been decided with single-digit numbers.

In the bet: The victory for Lebanon and the Ozark Conference has come to an end thanks to successive victories from Glendale, West Plains and Camdenton in consecutive weeks, which may be the most impressive victory in the Ozarks. Camdenton’s win and OC are split in three directions, WP, Lebanon and Camdenton, all with one loss. It would also bring Glendale back into the picture and launch a week 8 elimination game between Camdenton and Glendale when the winner claims a share of the OC crown. In addition, the two are both on C5-D5 along with Glendale. Camdenton’s victory over Lebanon put the Lakers at home

What you know: Tristan Wilson is an absolute man, and along with the Lebanese offensive line, he dominated the West Plains game and was a difference against Glendale as well. Camdenton doesn’t have anyone of that size and ability, but they return several experienced players to the defensive side of the ball. Wiley Powers and Jaden Parkman are two of the league’s best stoppers. In addition to Landon Thomas, they must be prepared to respond to the ruthless attack on Lebanon.

Thayer (5-1) Open (6-0)

Shaking: Thayer drilled Ava last year (43-6), but the Bears won the previous four and seven out of the last 11.

In the bet: The winner has a clear path to the SCA crown, the loser has to try to settle for just the state championship. Thayer won it in 2020, Ava 2019, 2018 and 2017.

What you know: Webber and Swofford are SCA royalty and longest coach in the league. Few Ozarks coaches know each other as well as the two. It will be interesting to see who is able to throw wrinkles, especially Thayer offensively. In addition to last year, the Bobcats have averaged only 15 PPGs against Ava since 2010.

Fair Grove (6-0) in Buffalo (4-2)

Shaking: Buffalo has won two of the last three meetings. Fair Grove won the previous eight, none of which were close.

In the bet: This game is for bragging rights only, as the two do not share a conference or class. But it is also a unique barometer game. Buffalos have lost two losses to currently unbeaten teams and on the road in highly competitive games. This is another opportunity for Bison to prove himself among the elite in a locally open Class 3 stage.

What you know: Fair Grove is one of the top scorers in the area, scoring at least 56 points in three games. The Eagles can turn it on quickly. Buffalo has been competitive with high-level teams, but struggled to get key stops. If they can restrict big games and get off the field in the third, this game can be a shocked alarm. If not, it can become ugly in a hurry.

Marshfield (4-2) in Aurora (5-1)

Shaking:Marshfield is 2-1 against Aurora in the last three seasons. Aurora won last year’s match 40-13.

In the bet:Aurora’s win will get at least a portion of the Big 8 East championship when one game against Reeds Spring remains. The win for Marshfield and Blue Jays is in line with the conference rankings in the loss table with the winner of Aurora and Hollister in Marshfield.

What you know:It is a clash of styles between a balanced Marshfield attack and a difficult Aurora attack. Marshfields Bryant Bull has thrown 1,424 yards and nine touchdowns in just two abductions with 154 attempts. He is also effective in lap 64 with 562 yards and 12 touches. Dayvion Harris leads the team in busy yards with 598,73 carrying capacity. Marshfield have 1,424 yards past and 1,310 yards rushing as a team during the season. Aurora has rushed 2183 yards as a team against just 205 overtaking yards. Kohl Rohlman and Ian Jackson do most of the damage to Houn Dawgs with a 732 and 722 yard rush. Each has nine busy goals.

Butler (6-0) in Warsaw (6-0)

Shaking: They have shared four meetings since 2012. A total of 28 points or more has been decided.

In the bet: The two share a conference and a district, and the loser of this finds it very difficult to win both. Butler has already dropped Buffalo, so the win here and things are basically over in the Ozark Highlands. Butler also has a three-point lead in the district’s home team rankings everywhere, which is even more important as Lafayette County (5-1) is in the area. Currently, in Class 2, 6, who will lose this game, will likely have to travel to see the district in the semifinals. There’s a raw game in Warsaw, and Butler, Skyline and Buffalo are waiting. On the positive side, Warsaw gets Buffalo and Butler home.

What you know: Butler have won 14 regular-season matches in a row and most of them have been explosive. The hardest part is their defense, where they rarely allow more than two points. Warsaw has been explosive in the attack, but they have not seen anything like Butler. How Warsaw’s Brady Slavens handles the Bears defense is huge, especially when the Wildcats ’hands stop Brend’s Patrick.
