Men & # 39; s Hockey Final in the final game against Omaha

OMAHA, Nebraska – The University of Maine men’s hockey national team won the University of Nebraska’s # 17 / # 15 in Omaha 5-3 Saturday night at the Baxter Arena.

First goal (1-0 UNO): When black bears were urged to sentence early, the Mavericks struck a power game. Chayse Primeau took a one-time pass from Taylor Ward. Two minutes after the first set, Maine missed the finish line.

Sixth painting (3-3): Omaha scored again in the winning game. Utilizing the space provided by the occupation, Cameron Berg leveled the out-of-conference race with 3-3 and six minutes left in the second period.

Seventh goal (4-3 UNO): 1:52 for the third set, Matt Miller scored a short-handed goal for Omaha and eventually won the game. The Black Bears started the final episode as a man. Miller took advantage of a misunderstanding between the home side’s goalie and center backs 31 minutes into the match.

Eighth goal (5-3 UNO): Kirby Proctor added Maverick’s goal in the third set. With exactly seven minutes left in the game, Omaha doubled his lead.

Notes: Tristan Poissant made his debut tonight against the University of Nebraska in Omaha.

Nolan Renwick and David Breazeale everyone recorded the first college scores of their careers. Brad Morrissey, Adam Daweand Grant Hebert everyone scored their first goal in the 2021-22 season.

Victor Ostman stopped 24 shots from black bears, while Isaiah Saville dropped 24 fights for UNO.

Maine won 1-7 of their chances of winning as the Mavericks played a player lead of 2-5.

The Black Bears blocked four shots and won 34 matches as a team.

Next: Maine is free next weekend before you open the home section of the 2021-22 schedule. The Black Bears are scheduled to hold the Sacred Heart on October 22nd. The disc is dropped at 7.30pm.
