The qualifying game continued on Friday at the ITA Southern Regionals in Auburn.
In Friday’s single, Auburn’s Jackson Ross won his morning match against LSU Joao Graca with goals 6-4, 1-6, 6-3. Ross’ afternoon match was the second case of three innings, and Tulanen’s Finnish Kuenkler won 6-7 (5), 7-6 (1), 6-2.
The main drawing game starts on Saturday and five tigers debut in the tournament. 9:00 AM Search for Murgett receives Ole-Miss top-ranked Finn Reynolds and Raul Dobai meets Sebastian Collard of South Alabama. Saturday at 11 a.m. Jan Galka attacks Florian Broska of Mississippi, Then Maclean beats Lukas Englehardt for Ole Miss and No. 2 Seed Tyler Stice plays Filip Planinsek from Alabama.
The main draw doubles will also start on Saturday. The game will continue until Tuesday’s event final. All matches are at Yarbrough Tennis Center and admission is free.
