Sandor Martin is shockingly shocked by former four-division champion Mikey Garcia

Martin was a fresher fighter on the last clock, and even won one of the first real wild changes of power along the ropes in the final seconds of the fight.

Boxing judges often turn scorecards that seem to conflict with all the other observers, which makes it exciting to read the totals. In the end, the scorecards read 95-95 and 97-93 twice and gave Martin a majority decision.

“I know myself and I know my abilities,” Martin said after the win. “I’ve been doing it since I was five years old. I said I’d come out and win the best in the world, and that’s what I’ve done.”

Martin took part in the fight from +1,200 underweight, which means a $ 100 bet that cost $ 1,200.

All but two of Martin’s fights have taken place in his native Spain, and on Saturday his first trip to North America. Now he runs 10 battle wins.
