Islanders Anxiety – Episode 175 – Deep Sigh

Mike and Dan look at the first three games of the Islanders season, which saw a lot of bad and good hope hidden beneath the surface.

They talk about a break in defense in Carolina and the wheels come off after a promising start to Florida, leading to losses against other teams expected to fight this season. They then relax after a victory in Chicago, largely saved by Ilya Sorok and the best game of their career, Oliver Wahlstrom.

Later, they look forward to the next three games that can set the tone for the entire long season-starting road trip.

Along the way, they talk about fashion lists, get respect, and watch their competitors start to crack inside.
