Jürgen Klopp “personally asks” for a move to Liverpool to strengthen the £ 50 million Madrid star forward.

Liverpool boss Jürgen Klopp has reportedly “personally” asked the club to make a transfer to Real Madrid’s inappropriate Luka Jovic.

Jovic has endured a tough time in Madrid, scoring just two goals in 38 matches since moving from Euntracht Frankfurt for £ 50 million in the summer of 2019.

Liverpool the strikers have been in great goal condition this season, with Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane, Roberto Firmino, Diogo Jota and Divock Origi scoring 34 goals in all competitions.

But according to Transfers (through Daily mail), Klopp has “personally requested” that the club make an offer for Jovic to strengthen his options for advancement.

Arsenal are also told to follow Jovic’s situation as they prepare to live without Alexandre Lacazette, who leaves the club at the end of his contract at the end of the season.

Jovic first arrived in the Spanish capital, scoring 27 goals in 48 games in the 2018-19 season, but only two goals in his debut campaign led to a return to Frankfurt for the second half of last season.

The striker has now returned to Madrid, but he is struggling again as he fails to find a net in six matches when Karim Benzema is the lead man under Carlo Ancelott.

Meanwhile, Nicolas Anelka argues that the Real Madrid striker – Kylian Mbappen – needs to move from Paris Saint-Germain to challenge himself against the best.

“You [Mbappe] you have at least two options – stay in Paris or move to Real Madrid, Anelka said.

– Both can win the Champions League these days. When I was on PSG, it wasn’t.

“The choice depends on what you want to achieve. If you want the biggest recognitions, you’ll have to move from PSG at some point.

“Whatever you do in Paris is good, but someone always says, ‘Well, you did great for PSG, but it only happened in France. The best leagues are in England and Spain, so you didn’t compete with the best players in the best league.

“If you want to win the Ballon d’Or, which you should watch to play Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Mass, you have to compete with the best.

“You can’t say you’re competing with the best all the time you’re on PSG. The French league is not easy, don’t get me wrong, but I think the hardest league is in England.
