Women’s tennis signs Ana Paula Martinez

Omaha, Neb. – Women’s tennis got one player in the 2022 recruitment class on National Signing Day, Wednesday, November 10, and added Ana Paula Martinez of Sunhills Valley High School in Queretaro, Mexico.

Martinez brings a lot to the table for Bluejays, as he has experience in both doubles and doubles and has played on several surfaces. Martinez has reached the world rankings for women by 1,723 and the junior list by the International Tennis Association 561.

“Ana Paula has a lot of experience playing against very high level players on hard and clay fields,” coach Tom Lilly said. “He’s got a big game and he’s had a lot of success in both singles and doubles, and we look forward to making him compete for us next season.”
