CHELSEA One of the less likely wins took place on Friday night at Jerry Niehaus Field in Chelsea.
With 20 seconds left in the draw, Detroit Country Day chose the winning goal, but Chelseas special teams had other plans.
Chelsea junior Jason Skoczylas blocked the kick and then terrified the ball and returned it 50 yards to the finish line, winning Chelsea 27-20 and winning the fourth consecutive regional championship this time in Division 4.
The Bulldogs advanced to the state semifinals where they will face Freeland.
