Yesterday, former Tampa Bay Lightning defender Braydon Coburn announced he would quit professional hockey at the age of 36. He played 16 seasons in the NHL and played in 983 regular season games and 137 post-season matches, six of which were in the Tampa Bay Lightning. He was a part Stanley Cup team in 2020.
Lightning acquired Coburn in 2015 NHL trading deadline with the store Philadelphia Flyers, who received in return the defender Radko Gudas, a conditional first and third round selection in the 2015 NHL Entry Draft. In 350 regular season games, Lightning Coburn scored 66 points (12 + 53). He also played in Lightning in 65 post-season matches and scored 9 points (1 + 8). During the 2020 offseason, Coburn was replaced Ottawa senators as well as Cedric Paquette and the election of the second round of 2022 in return for Anders Nilsson and Marian Gaborik, who also recently announced their cessation of professional hockey. Coburn played 16 matches in the Senators before being replaced New York Islanders at the 2021 NHL Trade Deadline, where he played the last three games of his career.

I am very proud to get into the league as an Atlanta Thrasher, proudly used Orange and Black as a member of the Philadelphia Flyers, won the Stanley Cup at Tampa Bay Lightning, and ended my career at the Ottawa Senators and New. York Islanders.
