In a game that may have the most repercussions for this year’s playoffs, Rams will travel to Lambeau Field to receive the Green Bay Packers. Matthew Stafford and Aaron Rodgers should face an exciting quarterback duel in America’s Week. The Packers (8-3), of course, already have a win against the Cardinals in the NFC, so they try to grab another Rams (7-3).
Green Bay want to get out of the mini-slide, where they have lost two of their last three matches, a 13-7 loss to the Chiefs and a 34-31 loss to the penalty shootout with the Vikings. While Aaron Rodgers looked much more like himself against the Vikings last week than the Packers won against the Seahawks, it was a rare show for a defense that looked completely unhappy against Kirk Cousins and the Vikings.
The Rams are also working to redress their balance as they have lost the last two to the Titans and 49ers. Both teams dealt with talented Los Angeles Rams, and the 49ers in particular forced their will on the field. Fortunately, Rams has a scheduled exit week in this game, so Sean McVay will no doubt have his team well prepared for the extremely talented Packers.
The Packers remain fourth in the league in turnover and are at +7 for the season. They are in the NFL against the 8th pass, which is more than enough for Rodgers to keep the attack on the field. The defense has been a strong story for the Packers all season, so let’s see if they can fix themselves after a week of play with huge consequences.
