If I’m in Cincinnati, I’m nervous but cautiously optimistic. The Bearcats check in at number 4 five days before election Sunday, and the road to staying in the top four looks relatively clear.
They need Georgia to crush Alabama in the SEC championship, and they themselves have to beat Houston. I think it should do it no matter what happens to the Oklahoma State Big 12 title game. The committee says right now that Cincinnati is one of the top four teams in the country despite the quality of its competition. This overall rating should not change after the Bearcats play against the Cougars.
