Minnesota Wild News: Kirill Kaprizov leaves the game with an injury

Well, that’s certainly one way to dampen spirits after the Minnesota Wild have made it 10 straight games in which they’ve earned at least a point in a 4-2 win Winnipeg Jets on Wednesday evening.

Midway through the third period, Giants defenseman Logan Stanley falls right on top of Kirill Kaprizov, who is in a tough spot.

The Wild star left the game and did not return. After the game, head coach Dean Evason was unable to provide any updates other than that Kaprizov will receive a full evaluation during the team’s day off on Thursday.

The selfish Wild potentially losing their best player while fighting for first place in the division is depressing at this time of the season. Let’s just hope he’s fully healthy in time for the playoffs.
