Enderes adds silver to the PH war coffin at the Asian Youth Para Games – Manila Bulletin

Daniel Enderes Jr. won a silver medal in the 1,500-meter T20 men’s under-20 series to elevate the country’s medal to one gold, six silver and two bronze medals at the Asian Youth Parade in Bahrain this weekend.

Linard Sultan, meanwhile, grabbed a pair of silver in the men’s singles and mixed team table tennis, while Mary Eloise Sable won bronze in the women’s mixed team.

The Sultan lost to Iranian Seyed Amirhossein Hosseinipour in a 3-2 gold medal round and was on the mixed team with Kuwait and Singapore, which also finished second.

Sable, meanwhile, was with the Malays when they won bronze.

The rules allow the paddler to form a team with other countries.

“These are the products of their sacrifice and hard work they practiced during the pandemic,” said Louie Eballa, a national parabola coach.

Swimmer Ariel Joseph Alegabres supplied lone gold and two silver, Ronn Russell Mitra and Enderes each won silver in athletics, while Angel Otom grabbed a bronze in swimming from other medals in the country.

During the press, Alegbres and Otom tried to add more to the boys ’200-meter medley and the girls’ 50m freestyle.

Already, Filipinos have won bronze medals in the final stage of this event four years ago in Dubai.
