Quadri Aruna won the World Cup World Cup (WTT) Cup final in the first hurdle in Singapore when he won a record 3-1 (7-11, 11-1, 14-12, 11-5) world. No.8 China’s Liang Jingkun men’s singles quarterfinals advance to the quarterfinals of the competition.

Aruna plays behind a historic trip to Singapore at the Houston World Championships, where he became the first African to reach the quarterfinals of the World Table Tennis Championships and the first African to rise to 13th in the world.

By the time the match, the top-ranked African player was left with Jingkun with a 0-2 loss to the Chinese at the 2018 Korean Open and the 2019 World Team Cup, but Aruna successfully gained a pound of meat early Sunday morning.
