A member of the British Barmy Army has put a question to his Australian girlfriend in front of a crowded crowd at the first Ashes Test in Brisbane.
Rob recounted his tragic cricket on the third day of the Natia Gabba test in the morning session, when the television cameras recorded an unforgettable moment.
She harasses her four-year-old girlfriend by pointing herself at the big screen as she pulls the ring out and lands on her knees.

“I keep this short and sweet,” Rob explains to the amazed Nati.
‘It’s been four years. Would you marry me?’
Nat nods before the couple seals the deal with a kiss as the English fans around them burst into cheers.
Rob puts the ring on Nati’s finger and raises his new bride to a big hug as he drops the rest of his beer.
“It’s all happening in Gabba on the third day, look at this,” Channel Seven commentator James Brayshaw said.
‘Rob is in Barmy’s army. Nat is Australian, of course. That’s great.
Cricket spectators attended the event.
“This is hell brilliant,” one wrote.
Another joked, “But he loves beer more.”
